Borough of Barnsley swimmers were in action again at the weekend at Rotherham Metro’s A&B Long Course (50m) meet, the last competition Borough were competing in prior to the Yorkshire Counties meet in February. A total of 45 swimmers took part in the gala with A2 squad Coach Joanne Archer at the helm along with 2022 club captain Noah Wragg. In the A grade category a total of 3 golds, 4 silvers and 7 bronzes were won with 8 gold, 11 silvers and 6 bronzes in the B grade category. Club Press Officer Adrian Wightman said “Once again our swimmers have excelled with many of the 45 swimmers obtaining personal best times as well as breaking their medal drought.
