Over the last week of July, Eleanor Valentine-Bull has swum the 50m and 100m breaststroke at the British Summer Championships, where the top 24 from each age group are selected to compete.
As we move into August it is the English Summer Nationals Competition where we have a total of 5 swimmers competing, with swimmers in everyday of the competition from Friday 5th to Tuesday 9th August, competing will be Louis Ennis in the 50m Freestyle and 50m backstroke. Oliver Austin swims the 200m Breaststroke as does Eleanor with her last swim of the nationals. Cody Ingram competes in the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly and Daniel Menzer completes the group with the 800m freestyle Head Coach, Carly Herbert said ‘It’s great to have so many swimmers competing across both British and English national competitions, the most we have ever had, this is testament to the work put in by the squad during the qualifying window from March to May, it’s a great building block with more potential entries in 2023’.
